Alpha Xi Delta & Autism Speaks: Listening Together
In 2009, Alpha Xi Delta Fraternity joined together with Autism Speaks to help spread awareness about autism and raise money for research. I joined Alpha Xi Delta in March 2010 and have since participated in and organized a number of autism-awareness events including: Walk Now! For Autism Speaks, Karaoke for a Cure, Strike Out Autism Baseball Games, Xi Marks the Spot, Walk/Run for Autism 5K, and many more. In the past four years, Alpha Xi Delta chapters nationwide have collectively raised more than $1 million for Autism Speaks.
